Can we monitor and trigger an alert when the JVM memory exceeds 2G?

This is covered by the SM HTML monitor. You can specify thresholds for heap, committed and actual memory.

Does the monitor get the value from SM? In our system, we found that the memory reported by SM does not match the memory in task manager.

In the current version (v3.7), you can set up process monitors to alert you if the OS memory exceeds the threshold. Currently, this is available for Windows OS.
