Monitoring JDE Logs for errors

Hello,

We are looking for a tool to check for errors in JDE logs. We have a list of phrases that we usually look for and would like to automate this process for all the JDE servers we have.

LynX Monitor includes File Monitor that can be configured to look for specific keywords and alert you when the keyword is found in the logs.

Does this work for multiple servers? Do we have to set up a script to run for each server?

Some of our search phrases are very specific for our environment. For example, if there is an table error, we want to exclude alerts for certain tables (as it is considered "normal" for us).

Yes, it works for multiple servers. There is no script, just monitor configuration - you set up a monitor for each server and file source (i.e folder).

For complex searches, you can use regular expressions in the keywords. This will let you exclude certain phrases and also restrict the search to certain patterns.
