JDE Address Book / Supplier Master category code update

Can your address book Excel template be used to update category codes in the address and supplier master records? We can use R01490 for address master but it does not allow different category code values for different records. I am not sure if there is a report for supplier master.

Yes, you can do this with out Address Book template.

Yes. It has all the fields for Address, Customer and Supplier master.

How does this work? Do we extract the data from JDE, paste it in your excel template and upload it?

You don't have to extract anything form JDE. You can use the template to load exiting records (in one step or incrementally), change the values and then upload it.

Sorry .. that demo is old. We have had the ability to change records for a while. In the screenshot below, "Change Mode" makes the same template (used for additions) ready for record changes. The "Load Records" button presents the user with a search dialog box to bring records into the spreadsheet. Once the records are loaded, the user is free to make changes to any of the editable fields and re-upload the records back to JDE.
